The Rebel Ukulele (Q-Series) Project: MInerva
Some of you may know that we always love to experiment with our products. Often, we conduct these experiments on a small scale, making them hard to notice.
For instance, each size of our ukulele—soprano, concert, tenor—uses a different version of bracing, and yes, that means different wood.
We usually opt for varied bracing as well, since we've noticed it affects the tone.
Our goal is to find the perfect combination of woods that best highlights their unique characteristics.
As we continuously engage in these experiments, we haven't made official announcements.
Only the best prototypes are incorporated into our production line. This means that our J-series features the best bracing we've researched at that time.
Following that, we aim to explore further into wood tones and combinations, sometimes even the positioning of the soundhole and how it affects the overall sound.
After the N.E.O project, we applied our newfound knowledge to the QUARK project, if you can recall. Now, I think it's time to embark on this journey again, after years of research, confident that we can make improvements by tackling the challenging aspects of the soundhole.
This has led to some of the best sounds we've produced (since we make only a few, and each one is distinct from the others, but the characteristic of each one is something you need to experience for yourself).
We would like to express our gratitude to all the fans and our team for their support, making these achievements possible and paving the way for the next phase of our journey."
